Meet the man behind the F2 Elite Soccer Academy
Mo Osman began his coaching career at Premiership Football Club Arsenal at age
17,working with local players on After school clubs & holiday courses.
After 2 years he moved to Colchester and spent five years working with the Colchester
United ‘Football In The Community’ Scheme, working once again with local schools,
holiday courses and working on then the newly formed ‘Advanced Coaching
Programme’.
In September 1999 Mo formed Football 2000 which then led onto spotting local talent
and the need for the F2 Elite Football Academy which kick off in September 2002 and
still goin strong.
In July 2006 Mo worked with the Colchester United ‘Centre Of Excellence’ Under 14’s
Squad.
Mo gained his UEFA B (FA Level 3) on 4th March 2007.

Arron Trials at Colchester United After a fantastic performance against Southend United for the F2 Elite in front of Colchester United scouts, Arron Redpath (Under 14’s) has been offered a six week trial.
June 2006 Update Arron has been offered a two year contract at Colchester United ‘Centre Of Excellence’.

Under 16’s make it through to Colne Football College Ben Connell, Marley Spindler, Joe Davis, Matthew Walker, Lee Branston and Reece Harris all made it through the trials to attend the Colne Football College.

Perry Signs for Colchester United
After a successful trial at Colchester United FC, Perry Sainsford (Under 16’s) had a dream debut when he scored the winner in a 4-3 thriller against Peterbrough.
